2.2 Digital Citizenship task 2018

·         Yes, because everything we do and say online creates a footprint of sorts.

·         What most people don’t realize is that even though we may delete things from the internet our social media sites or any online mechanism, it does not mean it is gone.

·         Someone may have already accessed it, viewed it and saved it.

·         That does means that just because you have deleted it, it does not mean it is gone.

·         The person that accessed the information or image may have saved it and then decided to share it onwards

Digital footprint creates the basis of our online reputation, a reputation that others may access whether or not we are trustworthy or reliable. (manual, 2015)
